CORRESPONDENCES AND INTERACTIONS WITH EMBASSIES AND GOVERNMENT ACROSS THE GLOBE:

CUBAN EMBASSY

About 1500 hrs of 15th April 2015, Igbo World Union National officers led by the President General, His Imperial Majesty Amb. Sir. Dr. Mishak Nnanta JP Arrived the Cuban Embassy on courtesy/honour visit. In his train was Rev.Dr. Mrs. Kate Amaka Uzugbunam the National Women leader, Engr. Peter Uyalemuo Ass. Sec. Gen., Chief Mrs. Fidel Orji Northern Zone Women coordinator, Chief Peter Umezurike FCT/Abuja Chairman. On hand to receive the IWU’s, were the warm and amiable Ambassador Mr. Carlos E. Trejo Sosa, his Wife Melus Peres Vorales and his secretary Mrs. Miriam Moreles Palmero who after the handshakes and introductions immediately initiated talks about Cuba been lucky to have 100% participation in Africa. It has been proven scientifically that Cuban have African D.N.A which had been generally traced to Eastern and Western part of Nigeria. To traditional are Igbo and in Cuba there ancestral affinity beyond doubt. does not exist in American, British just a Cuban, no 1868 Revolution all constituents’ slaves revolted the abolishment of all forms of segregation.

In the 19th century war against the well-armed Spanish Army, Cubans whether black, white or native Africans rose in unity and fought fiercely and bitterly with machetes and bows to liberate Cuba from Spanish imperialist. That singular unity of purpose and mission defeated expansionist and imperialist Spain and freed Cuba. In the 1950’s Ascension to power by filed Castro he re-enacted the solidification of Cubans oneness and improved socialism.

Cuban love their African heritage, that is why they love to participate in African affairs and solve her problems without pecuniary inducement. Cubans fought in the liberation of Namibia and South African. During the Ebola scourge Cuba sent in 206 Medical Doctors to West African (Sierra Leone, Guinea, Nigeria and Ghana) to help contain related ailments. Unfortunately 2 of the Doctors died of malaria related ailments.

Since the envoy arrived late last year, he had suffered a broken rib and malaria which is almost healed. That he is yet to get into the mainstream of his job due to the political transition which is about being concluded. He had an invitation to Abia State which he is yet to honour and would love to have an in to a more involvement that will usher in total advancement of that region, (Economic, Medical and scientific) He would love a direct engagement between Igbo women organization and Cuba women organization, which will be followed up or harnessed immediately. That this will open vistas or avenues of total advancement and improvement of the African Continent. That Cuba will be happy to pay back to their ancestral roots that which they have advanced in (Scientifically Technologically Medically and Agricultural). They are also interested in an immediate take-off of this project and will take the initiation to Abia State as a Lunch pad. With Igbo World Union’s oversight function for their people, exchange of goods, travels via-a-vis both citizen’s and bureaucratic bottlenecks will be eased off. The president General of Igbo World Union at that juncture re-invited him to Abia State immediately after the Government transition process and assured him of total security with his entourage. He went ahead to honour the Ambassador Carlos E. Trejo Sosa with the title of “OSUZO OMA NDI IGBO” according to the tradition of Igbo World Union and departed at 1530 hrs.


HUNGARIAN EMBASSY

On the 15th day of April, 2015 the Igbo World Union National officers led by the President General His Imperial Majesty Amb. Sir. Dr. Mishak Nnanta JP who is also the Gburuguru Ndigbo dum arrived the Hungarian Embassy Abuja on courtesy visit. In his entourage where the National Women leader Rev. Dr. Mrs. Kate Uzugbunam, Sec. Gen, Engr. Peter Uyalemuo, Northern Zone Women coordinator, Chief Mrs. Fidel Orji F.C.T Iwu former Chairman Chief Peter Umezurike, who on arrival by 10:40 hrs were immediately ushered in to a warm reception by the Ambassador Gabor Termak and his secretary Ms. Andrea Nagy.

After all pleasantries and introductions, the President General His Imperial Majesty Amb. Sir. Dr. Mishak Nnanta JP told the Ambassador how during the last Igbo meeting held in New York U.S.A on 22nd Nov. 2014. His name and country was nominated for honour, based on their assistance to Nigerians living in Hungary especially Igbo’s who have been integrated deep in the host country. The envoy who was effusive with words of thanks and appreciation, apologies for not being able to honour the official opening ceremony of IWU Secretariat “OBI NDIGBO” on the 14th day of March 2015 due to official engagements. He promised more Hungarian investment to the eastern part of Nigeria as a way of complimenting Igbo people effort, whom he had observed more enterprising and peaceful. The direct involvement of Igbo World Union with an oversight functions of Igbo affairs both in Nigeria and Diaspora, exchange of views and goods will no longer pose a problem. More so visitors travelling from both sides vis-à-vis will be more easy and manageable. As all bureaucratic bottleneck and information’s will be with ease. He agreed that these will be gate way strengthened economic, bilateral and technological advancement of Nigeria. Dr. Mishak Nnanta and his officers went ahead to confer on Ambassador Gabor Termak the honour according to the Igbo World Union tradition as “OJE OZI OMA NDI IGBO”. After which the IWU entourage immediately departed by 1050 hrs for other assignment.
